| this is a film double exposure. first time through shot in Alberta and second time through shot at the Moorten Botanical Garden in Palm Springs in February. a few have mentioned about loving film but using it less. i use both digital and film and here's how i've been able to get film to work well for me. i buy almost expired film very cheap at the Giant Tiger Bargain store around the corner. i shoot film with my ancient girl-repaired (i.e. taped together) Canon T70. as there is no professional film lab in town i take the film to Walmart on the north side of town. the young women at Walmart study New Media and get both the pinhole and double exposure stuff. for less than $5 i get the film developed and the images put on a CD. i hope at some point to have a darkroom to work in again but for now this works really well and is no trouble. when you shot double exposures you get twice the fun for same $. hope everyone has a good weekend. |
