| today posting photos of the black and white film portraits from the final assignment as it is hanging on the wall. my original plan was to post these as scans of the negatives but i had some trouble with my frame spacing and when it came to scanning some of the negatives got cut off - there is probably a solution to this but i don't know it yet. anyway here are 8 images of the portraits hanging. these prints were all developed in the darkroom and printed on Ilford Multigrade Satin (matte) paper. all photos were taken outdoors with natural light - no flash or reflectors. i haven't toned the images - the pinkish cast is just from my digital white balance. also i've tried to correct the perspective it's another skill i've yet to master though. each of these individuals answered my ad for models and none of them were known to me before we began working together. i will probably post some scans from some of the portrait sessions later. on the left is Alexis - on the right is Katrina. |
