happy first official day of spring - 2009-03-20 20:40:51
| i have a few more night images which i shall post soon but this morning i realized today is the first official day of spring. seemed like a good time for a photo to document what the first day of spring looks like here. this was taken from the edge of my work parking lot this morning - i have not desaturated the image - this is the color here today - but we're doing well - the snow is gone for now and the river is starting to thaw - in a few weeks the pelicans will arrive - we could get another snow or two but the coldest weather is behind us. all good reasons to celebrate. |
