| note added: there have been some comments about people not being sure of the scale of this. it's a fairly large fountain in an outdoor mall in Carlsbad CA - you may be just able to make out the legs of a man striding through the top right of the image - the rain dancer perhaps. i tried using the dodge tool in this area to make the figure easier to see but wasn't happy with the results. i also tried post-processing exposure adjustments so it would be easier to see the figure but in the end decided i preferred the darks and the sense of night. am in the midst of a small series of night shots as it has occurred to me i have a few of them that have been waiting in the wings for their moment here. |
