| this was taken in August in Victoria BC at Thunderbird Park. behind the poles you can glimpse the back of the famous Empress Hotel where they still serve afternoon tea - although i'd lay my money on more fun with scotch in the Library bar. didn't post this photo with the totem pole series as it's not one of the best. but i like the girls talking as they walk. thank you everyone for the great comments on the last Vancouver photograph. i lived there for close to 40 years and it feels more like home than any other external place. this photoblog is getting short shrift at the moment - we leave town for family holiday visits in two weeks and i'm practically hyperventilating today about all i have to get done before we leave. i will check my files though and if there is more Vancouver beauty there i will post it. |
