| thought i was finished taking these kinds of images (mannequins, gowns, reflections) - apparently not. went downtown again this morning before work and saw a couple of possible images but this is the one that drew me in. the colors and folds in the dress. the mannequin sitting as if she's waiting for something or someone. clothing has always been important to me and garments show up a lot in my images although not always in the ones i post here. ordinarily i would have taken at least 3 or 4 captures and then decided at home which one i liked best. was surprised to find how much i enjoyed thinking carefully about angles and framing while standing there this morning and then leaving with only one image. |
