| the list of things wrong with this photograph is the longer than the long list of things on my mind these days - but when i got home tonight i thought i want a peaceful image here. i went scrounging through my files (because my challenge doesn't start until monday) and this is the first image that appealed to me. i took it last spring in Calgary and almost deleted it a few times. these boys got to me before i got to them, they asked me for change and i fished some out of my handbag for them and then asked for a photograph. they decided on their own that the peace sign was what they wanted to offer. they also gave damn good eye contact for this image and perhaps that's the reason i didn't delete it. peace. and a big thank you to everyone who has been encouraging about the challenge. |
