| this is what i looked like at 8:30am Thursday October 30th. i had a spooky photo i'd been saving for two months to post at Halloween but then this morning i didn't feel like posting it. i rarely take self portraits but this week i've been thinking a lot about my aging. it's tempting to play with the sliders to soften things but i've tried not to do too much of that. on a different topic a big thank you to everyone who expressed an opinion on which landscape photo they preferred. everyone who commented had helpful things to say and gave me food for thought. most preferred the second image. and some are not much better deciders than i am. which only increases my warmth toward you. another topic. i've been thinking of a photographic challenge for myself. i'm not ready to commit to a 365 but i have been thinking of a 3/5. like 5 days a week for 3 weeks i could post a photo i've taken that day. but i've also been wanting to be more thoughtful about my images so i'm considering the challenge of pushing the shutter button only once a day and posting that image for 3 weeks. i'm not quite committed yet but ... soon probably. |
