| i'm going to have to ask you to bear with me for a bit. leafy head, scatter brain ... i don't know what to call it but this time the return to the real world has hit me harder than usual. i'm not complaining. i live a charmed life. it's good to have a home and great job to return to - i'm happy to be back in Alberta. i'm also overwhelmed. it's temporary but it's certainly affecting my photographic output and what i post here. i'm not at all happy with the last few photos i've put up. the handful of photos taken on the drive home are crap. photos from the inlet don't feel right to put up at the moment - i'm saving them for when i really miss the ocean. street photos from Vancouver are being saved for an upcoming show. old photos seem all wrong for posting right how. i haven't taken new photos since hitting town. the light is brutally hard here and takes time to get used to. nothing jumps out at me to photograph it all looks harsh after the early morning inlet mists. this will change. i'll get back in the swing of things. in the meantime if you have patience and faith to spare i welcome it. |
